Cultivate influential relationships with both distinguished internal stakeholders and our exclusive external client portfolio to reinforce our reputation for exceptional risk stewardship in wealth management.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include facilitating the identification of various risks throughout the organization, performing human resource management activities, preparing and presenting operational budgets, assisting in leading risk and control consulting activities, contributing to strategic development and execution of risk management activities, analyzing complex problems and presenting recommendations to senior management, working with business process owners and auditors to evaluate control deficiencies, interpreting and recommending changes to policies and procedures, establishing objectives and developing processes for efficient workflow, providing guidance for business process improvements, coordinating resources for high-quality results, using communication skills to influence internal audiences, holding teams accountable for deliverables, providing opinions on control environments, preparing reports and presentations, maintaining currency in operational risk management, and performing other assigned duties.Knowledge required includes advanced risk management frameworks relevant to wealth management, comprehensive understanding of risk and control frameworks, sophisticated investment concepts and risk mitigation strategies for high-net-worth individuals, wealth management operational structures and private banking practices, and diverse financial products and markets relevant to wealth management clients.Skills include critical thinking, preparing and reviewing budgets, developing policies and procedures, establishing objectives, preparing and delivering presentations, promoting coordination between work groups, identifying trends and corrective actions, establishing control mechanisms, implementing process improvements, planning and conducting risk management projects, identifying and documenting risk management issues, testing key controls, and operating office equipment and software.Abilities include performing human resource management activities, leading and mentoring others, identifying training needs, balancing resource demands, facilitating meetings, attending to detail while maintaining big picture orientation, gathering and applying information, communicating effectively, reading and interpreting professional information, leading customer service efforts, and establishing effective working relationships at all organizational levels.Educational/Previous Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of five years’ experience in risk management, internal control, audit, or information security experience, or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
