Job Description Location: Manhattan, NY Duration: 6+ Months Responsibilities: Deliver solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform. Design and architect online applications that leverage the Force.com development platform. Lead the configuration of the modules built on the Salesforce platform. Assess business requirements, translate them into solutions (potentially on Salesforce platform) and lead the definition and communication of technical scope. Conduct discovery sessions to validate and facilitate business requirements and drive platform and technology choices and own the IT specifications, timelines and solution approach. Capture business processes in automation solutions using the Salesforce platform and the Force.com development architecture. Maintain technical documentation. Create and lead solution design documents, integrations designs, configuration information, developed API and other interface documentation, etc. Drive continuous improvement of implemented solutions. Simplify and modernize solutions and services by planning standardized interfaces, removing redundancies, improving efficiencies, sharing feature/functionality context across multiple business lines, solutions and business needs. Work with speed and urgency in an Agile environment, using Agile methodologies with a goal of defining canonical solution models that maximize reuse and ensure team velocity. Requirements Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in applicable area of expertise or 5+ years of equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience with Salesforce.com or very similar experience with at least 1+ years of experience developing on/administering a large Salesforce.com instance. Knowledgeable in standard functions/modules of Salesforce.com: Sales Cloud, Exact Target Cloud, Community Cloud. Demonstrate technical expertise in Salesforce technology (Apex, VF, Webservice API, Data Loader, Data). Demonstrated experience with Force.com development platform. Experience leading larger complex solution projects. Demonstrated experience in the design, configuration, testing and deployment of Salesforce.com functionality. Demonstrated experience of Salesforce.com administration and end user security requirements. Experience with large scale system implementation, integration, interfaces and data conversion. Experience in using efficient methodologies (e.g. Agile) and driving development platforms. Proven experience in bridging the needs and pace across business and IT teams. Must be flexible to work with global teams and stakeholders across time zones.
